This specimen is from an old collection is a complete Dragonfly preserved laterally. The matrix has been cut square and although i am not 100% certain on the ID the size and shape of the specimen would indicate Stenoplebia. Unlike the majority of examples commercially available this one has had no paint or ink applied to bring out the definition. A rare and unusual fossil..

The matrix measures 9.6 x 4.4cm. the dragonfly measures 7.1cm
