This specimen comes from an old U.K collection formed in the 1980's. It is a splenial dentition from a Pycnodont within some kind of nodule that also includes coprolites. The Kimmeridge clay at Speeton is rarely accessible and this is the only Gyrodus plate i have ever seen from this location.
