Liopleurodon ferox
Jurassic, Callovian, Oxford Clay
Bradley Fen, Whittlesey, Peterbourough
This specimen came to me via an old U.K collection and is a tooth from a very rare U.K Pliosaur, arguably amongst the most desirable fossil reptile teeth from the U.K and further. The specimen is naturally brecciated as is common from the Oxford clay. The tooth is virtually complete to the partial root and the tip is perfect. In over 15 years of dealing this is only the third i have offered for sale.
The specimen measures 3.85cm
