This is a complete frontal bone or the top of the skull from a predatory fish from the Oxford clay of Peterborough. A very rare fossil and one for the specialist collector. The bone exhibits amazing detail and would have come from a Caturus or a fish of this size.
The fossil measures 6.0 cm's in length.
