This is a well preserved centre of an Ammonite that has been preserved largely of calcite, the preservation is extremely good and the remaining Ammonite has been prepared around the shell, not one for the collector of complete ammonites but certainly a stunning piece of art in its own right. A base has been cut so that the specimen can be displayed.
The rock measures approximately 18 x 15 x 7cm
