Product Description
Rebbachisaurus sp
Mid Cretaceous, Albian - Cenomanian
Kem Kem Basin, Taouz, Morocco
This is a very large tooth from a Sauropod from the Kem Kem basin. it was found in one piece and has the slightest bit of natural feeding wear. Currently all Sauropod teeth and bones are assigned to Rebbachisaurus however there are many variations which would suggest a variety of Diplodocoidea from this deposit, more research is being carried out at the moment and hopefully a paper will follow.
The tooth measures 3.0cm's in length and was found in one piece
